Cool small space with great food. Shared apps and dinner plates with friends. The walls are filled with pasta sauces and anything you need to take home and make your own meal. Byob and botttled refreshments. The bathrooom is down on the basement passing the kitchen. Overall great cozy place with great food, will visit again.

The environment as if back in Italy. The owner greets his customer's with a smile at all times. Let's get to the food...Every dish is so amazingly delicious. Cooks with love!! A nice relaxed atmosphere, this cafe/deli is a great spot that serves good food and has wonderful service. The prices were a little more expensive than I would have thought but not too bad.

Authentic Italian cuisine..,With great service. It's a very intimate small eating area. But the food speaks volume..I love this place for any occasion. I have never got a bad meal from Gios..I reccomend Gios to all who want great Italian food....

Traditional Chicago Italian-American fare in a casual neighborhood setting. Food is consistent and quite good. Prices are very reasonable across the board considering the dinner portions are easily two full meals. A great place for a casual date, family meal, lunch, etc.

Great hidden gem in Little Italy. Homemade Italian Beef and pasta. Looking forward to going back soon.

Ordered clams over linguini in red sauce but when it arrived it was in white sauce, I was very disappointed. However they went above and beyond by sending out another complete order of everything. That was great customer service and the red sauce really makes the dish.

Excellent atmosphere and amazing Italian food! The service is very friendly and courteous, this is a perfect place to have a good portion meal with your choice of wine (BYOB). One of my favourites is the Tortiglioni Carbonara, you can't go wrong with it!

We Love Gio’s. Everything is delicious and fresh. Nacho the owner is the best. He has a very good and honest heart and you feel that in his food.

I tried Gio's Deli for lunch today and definitely won;'t ever go there again. The Italian beef had absolutely no flavor and the au jois was basically water and oil. THE WORST BEEF SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!

I ordered the filet mignon special tonight with a side of mushroom risotto. WOW. After a long week, a tender and perfectly cooked filet is such a treat. Thank you! You made my night!

I've been to Gio's before only had soup and salad which I enjoyed. This time I had an entree of chicken parmigiana. I was disappointed the marinera sauce was bland and the chicken parm was not flavorful. The bread was hard difficult to chew . Not happy with meal at all. The waitress was blaa not very friendly my experience there was not great. It was memorable in the fact that I will only have soup if I ever go back.

The lowdown: A quaint restaurant with solid food. It also has a deli! I'd definitely go back.Ambiance: Went there early on a Saturday afternoon, and snagged the only outdoor table. The restaurant is located in a residential area, so the sidewalk was rather quiet and pleasant.Food: I got the tortiglioni carbonara, which was good but didn't make for great leftovers. My boyfriend got the pepper and egg sandwich, which he loved. The portions are big and the prices are affordable. We also shared the tiramisu, which was pre-made but delicious regardless. After dinner, we walked around the deli and I got the gnocchi. Overall, this is a more cozy than fancy atmosphere.Service: Prompt service. Waiter wasn't particularly welcoming, but it was fast and courteous, so no complaints there.

I love this place. Have been going for years. Authentic Italian fare inside an intimate grocery store. It's too cute! Prices are easy on the wallet and the service is top tier.

Classic corner joint residential Bridgeport. Usual Italian fare, but always check the specials. We go as a group every month or so, service is A+. Food can be a bit heavy, come hungry. No parking, so be ready to hunt a space down.

As always excellent service. Food was perfect and made to our taste. Always great to get back into the neighborhood.Last time have the homemade pasta with spinach and ricotta. Absolutely fabulous!

Went early morning. Gentleman was very helpful and polite. Let me know about street cleaning and brought out my groceries to the car.

Not only is the food exceptional, the outside seating quaint. Some neighborhood women dining separate from us bought our dinner..just a lovely experience, Bridgeporter's have a generous heart!

Authentic Sicilian food with imported goods to purchase? Count me in! It is a small, quaint mom and pop place (BYOB) that I stop by regularly for even just a treat (I love their pistachio ice cream) to take home. I also cook an occasional Italian dish and this place practically has all the ingredients I look for that stores don't always carry. They also have a deli! This place is quite the gem and has not disappointed me.

The mussels were Dynamite Carbonara sauce was rich in flavor Server was so welcoming and seemed genuinely humbled to be serving my date and I. Only thing missing was a bottle of wine. Next time for sure, as this cozy lil establishment is BYOb
